Suspension Bridge

Suspension bridges help the local community get around and provide some of the most spectacular views overlooking rivers in the middle of the jungle. Get some great pictures and learn how this bridge was built. The bridge is sturdy but slightly wobbles as you cross over.

Snake Fruit Farm

Snake fruit is an unusual fruit that can be found in Bali. It is named after its skin, which resembles the texture of a snake. We will visit a farming family that grows and harvests snake fruit on their land. We will walk through their food forest and, pick some of the fruit off of the trees.

Coconut Sugar Making

We will visit an organic farmer who makes sugar from coconuts. We will learn how the coconut sugar is made and taste some of the best coconut sugar directly from the griddle. We will have an opportunity to converse with the family, tour their home, and walk through their food forest to pick snake fruit (if the fruit is in season).

Hidden Spot: Bilukpoh River

In the local style, we will spend some time relaxing in a hidden spot along a river, where we will take some time to swim and enjoy the water and the rich lush forestry around us. We will also eat lunch here.
