Bicycle tour on UYUNI Salt Flat - REAL DESERT ADVENTURE-

1 Day

The tour starts at 09:00 a.m. heading towards the town of Colchani, located 20km from the town of Uyuni, to visit the handicrafts, salt processing and museums of this town.

5km from Colchani is the highest and biggest Salt Flats in the world at a height of 3,650 meters and with an area of 12,000 km2 approximately. We visit the piles of salt and the “White beach” and continue by going to the middle of the Salt Flats to begin bicycling. Whenever you want or need to you can stop and continue the tour, towards Tunupa Volcano by car.

We continue to see the mommies, lamas and flamingos near to the Coqueza comunity.

We are going to see the sun set on the salt flat and after dinner to go stars gazing.

Over nigth in a Basic Salt Hotel. (Prived room and toilet) (Dinner and breakfast included)

2 Day.

After breakfast we continue to visit the villages of Chantani and Tahua.

We start riding the bicycle to Piramide isIand (A place Star Wars did the film)

We head towards the middle of the Salar (Isla "Inka Wasi"). The route has a distance of round about 45 km, but you are always able to rest and put the bicycle on the car.

We can take perspective pictures on the salt flat.

When we arrivive at the island "Inka Wasi" we can relax a little bit and take our lunch.

You can walk around the Island to enjoy the beautiful view from its top, (tickets included)

After viewing the island we will return to Uyuni completing the tour at about 05:00 pm.

The tour ends at our office, Uyuni Airport, Hotel ore Bus- Station.
