Stop At: Puerto santa pola, Calle Fernando Pérez Ojeda, 6, 03130 Santa Pola, Alicante, Spain

The tour departs from Valencia city centre and you will be accompanied by a local guide.
After 2 hours, you will arrive to Santa Pola, a small town located in Alicante province. From this point departs the boat that will take you to the Tabarca Island, the trip lasts half an hour.

Tabarca is the only inhabited island in the Valencian Community. Its coasts sheltered a refuge of pirates for hundreds of years. The island was fortified and populated by inhabitants from an island in Tunisia (called Tabarka), with the objective of ending piracy. The walls that surround its urban nucleus have been declared Historical Artistic Set and Well of Cultural Interest.
During the guided tour you will appreciate different historical places in the small island. The large well-preserved walls, three ancient entrances to the walled city, a defensive tower, the Governor's house or the monumental Baroque style church that stands out on the profile of the island.
Tabarca Island is a real marine paradise, with crystal clear waters and an outstanding flora and fauna. It was recognized as the first Marine Reserve in Spain, in 1986. It is the ideal place for scuba diving lovers since it offers a unique underwater landscape. Its charming beaches and rocky coves invite you to a relaxing swim in its clear waters. Do not forget to bring a snorkel equipment!
This day you will also delight in a delicious typical meal that includes starters made with sea products, as main dish “Arroz a Banda” - Alicante typical paella -, dessert, coffee, liquor and beverages. You will indulge your palate enjoying breathtaking views of the sea.
After spending an unforgettable time in the Tabarca Island it is time to head back to Santa Pola. Then, we will return to Valencia and arrive around 9:00pm.
