Segway Tour of the Botanical Gardens at the University of British Columbia

1h30
About this activity
The University of British Columbia's Botanical Garden is a wonderful place to explore on a Segway away from the crowds. Eighty acres of rare trees and plants, an intricate system of trails, and a treetop walkway offering a squirrel's-eye view of the forest are just some of the things you'll discover. You'll enjoy a stimulating learning experience with an informative guide. Never tried a Segway? No problem! Your experienced glide masters will have you up and gliding in a matter of minutes!

Explore the Asian Garden, an elaborate display of rare plants from all over Asia including a replica 16th-century medicine garden of healing plants. There's also an old-fashioned food garden and a broadleaf Carolinian Forest, a new feature consisting of twelve individual groves each named for an early North American plant explorer.

After your Segway tour, stick around to check out the area's many attractions, such as the Museum of Anthropology and the award-winning Nitobe Japanese Garden. Public transit is available to the Campus of UBC.

Please note:
Admission to the gardens is not included in the tour price and must be purchased separately.
