Stop At: Chiesa di San Zaccaria, Campo San Zaccaria Castello 4693, 30122 Venice Italy

We will start our tour from the Schiavoni's bank and we will reach the district of Castello, where we will visit the gothic Church of S. Giovanni in Bragora outside, an ancient church founded in 8th century and originally built in Veneto - Bizantyne style.

We will continue our strolling around the district of Castello, and we will reach the Church of S. Zaccaria, a splendid Gothic-Renaissance church founded in the 9th cen., attached to the ancient monastery of benedectine nuns, object of so many rumors about them.

Getting an evocative underpass we will reach Saint Mark's baisin and from there we will walk to Saint Mark's Square, the very true heart of the city, where we can see all the symbols of the Serene Republic of Venice: the 2 columns, the Doge's Palace, the Basilica of Saint Mark, the Clock Tower, the Belltower, the Procuratie, the Marciana Library and the Zecca.

Later, we will continue our Tour reaching the famous Rialto Bridge and a rooftop terrace of an ex - warehouse hostel for merchants, from where you can enjoy an amazing overview on the Grand Canal.

At the end you can taste our famous 'cichetti', our typical snacks, in a 'bacaro' nearby!!
