About this activity

Your personal English-speaking driver will pick you up from your hotel and will take you to Valpolicella wine region which is less than an hour drive from Verona.

This will be a full-day wine experience in “Valpolicella Valley of Many Cellars” where you will discover and taste best versions of Amarone wine, and visit two leading wineries of the region.

You will start with a guided tour of one the best Valpolicella winery based in the Ancient Roman Villa before moving onto Amarone vineyards, owned by one of the most renowned wine makers in the Italy, and set in the beautiful rolling hillsides surrounding Verona. Here you will learn all about the characteristics of the various grape varieties and the viticulture behind Valpolicella wine. You will enjoy the landscape and relaxing atmosphere of luxurious propriety during the tour of the villa and afterwards explore the wine-making process the wine cellar.
