About this activity
The Chateau de Versailles is a palace and a French historical monument located south-west of Paris. This palace and its gardens were designed to glorify the French monarchy, and was the residence of kings of France, Louis 14th, Louis 15th and Louis 16th.
Pick up at your hotel, 45 minutes drive with a bilingual licensed guide on board who will give you general information about French Monarchy and French History. Be sure to spend a memorable time. With skip the lines tickets (included in the price), your guide will lead you to the apartments of the King, the private apartments of "Mesdames", Louis 15th's daughters, (the Queen's apartments including Marie-Antoinette's bedroom are closed until 2018) and the famous hall of mirrors overlooking the Grand Canal and fountains.
Then, your private guide will lead you to the gardens to see the Orangerie and the Grand Canal (included in the price).
From April to October, attend the fountains show in the gardens. (Only on week-ends and on Tuesdays from June).
Back to the vehicle to drive you back to your hotel.
