Your tour starts from the charming town of Vik i Myrdal located on the south coast of Iceland. Meet your guide at the Ice Cave Bistro in Vik and join him on an off the beaten track super jeep ride to the magical Dragon Glass Katla Ice Cave. During your ride to the entrance of the cave you will be surrounded with stunning glacier and mountain view. 

Upon arriving to the roots of the Kotlujokull Glacier you will be welcomed with an amazing view with layers of different colored ice. You will also see an opening in the glacier where mother nature has truly outdone herself and created this otherwordly ice cave that we call the Dragon Glass Katla Ice Cave. Here giant ice walls will great you and provide you with a unique photo opportunity. Entering the entrance of the cave is an experience like no other and the colors once in are a heavenly mixture of magical blue and black colors. Your knowledgeable guide will inform you of Kotlujokull's history and how the cave was formed making the trip not only a sight for soar eyes but also educational. After enjoying all that the ice cave has to offer you will return to the jeep for a scenic drive back to Vik.
