3 Day Soviet Style Getaway

Day 1. Welcome to Vilnius!

Arrival to Vilnius. Optional transfers from the airport.

Day 2. Travel back in time – hear and experience all about the Soviets.

In the morning you will have a Soviet themed walk of Vilnius that includes a guided tour in the KGB museum ex-prison which is one of the most visited museums and has a lot to tell about the time. Walking tour continues to Vilnius city, where you will see the real examples of remaining Soviet architecture and hear the stories behind it. You will stop for some sweet bites and tea at the local coffee shop that still holds the authentic style and spirit of the time. Later we will continue to Lazdynai one of the most iconic Soviet times district with the most Soviet-architecture-award-winning buildings. And we chose to take you there by trolleybus to get the real feeling– as cars were scarce back in the days. Another trolleybus ride will take you to the TV tower where you will get a bird’s eye view of everything you covered on this day. After the intensive exploration you will have some time for yourself as the guide will leave you here at the café on top enjoying the views.

Breakfast at your hotel and free time in Vilnius if there is time left before your flight. Optional transfer to the airport. Goodbye's and see you next time in Vilnius!
