Long Weekend Break in Vilnius

Day 1 : Arrival to Vilnius. Private transfer from the airport to the 4* centrally located hotel. Free time for lunch, relax. In the afternoon 3h Vilnius city tour with English speaking guide. The tour will introduce you to the rich history of the Lithuanian capital and reveal the charm of the city‘s heart. Variety of architectural styles, cosy alleys and yards, each hiding a legend behind will make you fall in love with Vilnius. See the panoramic view from Gediminas Castle Tower or St. John‘s Bell Tower, impressive Castle street, Gothic masterpiece – St. Ann‘s church, Amber Gallery, Baroque Vilnius University and miraculous Gates of Dawn.
Optional in the evening Lithuanian beer tasting & dinner. Have a short tour in Lithuanian beer restaurant – brewery, try 5 different kinds of beer, hot dish from a selected menu & traditional Lithuanian beer snacks at an additional cost.
Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 2 : Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting your English speaking guide, trip to Trakai (28 km from Vilnius). Trakai - the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit the 15th century Insular Trakai Castle housing an exhibition on prehistoric findings and applied art of 17-18th century, the way of life of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and the Karaites, brought to Lithuania from the Crimean Peninsular. Later – lunch in traditional karaites restaurant. You will have a chance to try out unique karaites liqueur.
Optional tour to Uzutrakis Manor. We strongly recommend visit recently renovated Uzutrakis manor, which like a white swan flaunts on the shore of Galve lake and provides a spectacular view to Trakai castle at an additional cost.
Later on trip to Kernave. Here you will be able to climb 5 mounds and enjoy a superb breath-taking view of the river valley graced by the bends of the Neris river.
Return to Vilnius. Free time to walk around, try local specialities and have fun. Overnight.
Day 3 : Breakfast at the hotel. Get to know bohemian Uzupis Republic and learn about it‘s constitution; visit baroque masterpiece – St. Peter‘s and Paul‘s church. Zverynas – another unique Vilnius area you are going to visit. It is one of most prestigious areas of the city, famous for it‘s wooden architecture.
Free afternoon to shop around Pilies street and Gediminas avenue. Get some souvenirs for your friends and relatives!
Optional for the evening. We will be happy to organize tickets to a concert/ theatre/ opera or other event.
Day 4 : Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. Private transfer to the airport. Departure.
