About this activity
Curonian Spit is an almost 100 km long narrow peninsula, which separates the mainland and the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic sea. Since the year 2000 Curonian Spit is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. While mostly known for its drifting sand dunes, pine forests, elks and fine beaches, Curonian Spit also offers rich cultural heritage of the traditional fishermen’s way of life, the ethnic Curonians (Kuršiai) group, and east Prussian history.

Discover all highlights of Curonian Lagoon with a professional local guide while traveling in a comfortable air-conditioned van. You will walk on some of Europe's largest sand dunes, hear Lithuanian sagas and fairytales on the mysterious Hill of Witches, experience haunting atmosphere in the cormorants colony, explore cultural centre of the Curonian Spit - Nida village located next to border with Russia and learn more about the amber in the Amber gallery.

And last but not least - why not to take a swim or just a pleasant beach walk on the famous sandy beach of the Curonian Spit before heading back to Klaipeda?
