Start your day by taking a trip back in time visiting Lee-Fendall House, a beautiful example of 18th century craftsmanship and design. The property was originally owned by Henry “Light Horse Harry” Lee – American Revolutionary leader, ninth Governor of Virginia, and father of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. We will enjoy a guided tour of the home.

Stop At: George Washington's Mount Vernon, 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, Mount Vernon, VA 22121

Located approximately ten miles South of Alexandria, in the late 18th century it was a world away. Enjoy the scenic drive as we wind our way down the George Washington Memorial Parkway to the property for two hours of self-guided time.

Stop At: Port City Brewing Company, 3950 Wheeler Ave, Alexandria, VA 22304-6409

The first commercial brewery to open in Alexandria since the Portner brewery shut its doors in 1916. Enjoy a flight of their delicious offerings and spend about an hour here before we finish our trip at the King Street Metro Station to complete the loop.
