Birding has become an important aspect of eco-tourism promotion in the Bahamas. Grand Bahama is known as a major migratory pathway for a variety of species including rare birds. There are 226 birds that migrate through the Bahamas annually. There are six endemic species to the Bahamas - 1. Bahama Lizard Cuckoo, 2. Bahama Warbler, 3. Bahama Yellowthroat. 4. Bahama Oriole, 5.
