4-Night Highlights of Silk Road City from Xi'an

Day 01: Xi'an
You will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel in Xi'an at 09:00AM. Your visit starts with the UNESCO-protected Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. After lunch you will continue with visiting the City Wall. If time permits, a bicycle tour can be arranged. Accommodation: Tang Dynasty Hotel (3 star) or similar.

Day 02: Xi’an
Exploration continues on to the Xi'an Museum and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area, which will be followed by a special Shadow Play and Stringed Puppet Show accompanied by serving of a Chinese tea. In the afternoon you will visit the Shaanxi History Museum, followed by a Gourmet Walking Tour. Accommodation: Tang Dynasty Hotel (3 star) or similar.

Day 03: Xi'an - Dunhuang by Air
Your Xi’an local guide will escort you to the airport with the private transfer for taking the flight to Dunhuang city. Upon your arrival, your local guide will greet and escort you to the hotel. Later you will experience the desolated desert scene along the Echoing-Sand Dune to Crescent Lake by riding a camel. Accommodation: Dunhe Hotel (3 star) or similar.

Day 04: Dunhuang
You will explore Mogao Grottoes - one of the four most prominent grottoes in China, consisting of over 700 caves, 2,000 statues and tens of thousands square meters of murals. After lunch, you will continue to visit Dunhuang Museum which is an amazing place to appreciate the local cultural relic. During the evening, you will have a stroll in the Shazhou night market. Accommodation: Dunhe Hotel (3 star) or similar.

Day 05: Depart from Dunhuang
There is no itinerary planned for the day. If you are want to leave Dunhuang for your onward journey, you will be transferred to the airport and your guide will see you off. The tour ends in Dunhuang.
