Half day Small group Chinese traditional cultural experiences in xian

As you know Chinese painting and calligraphy are the essence of Chinese culture. This is a must you will discover in China.

So at first, you will go to a local art museum with guide where you will see the China’s four treasure of study: the ink, inkstone, rice paper and brush .After you visit the museum , you will sit down there like a student to appreciate Chinese ink and wash painting and learn how to write the Chinese Characters . after short learning, you will hold the writing brush and follow the master to practice most widely used Chinese characters on the rice papers.

Next , You will be taken to the shadow play theatre by guide to watch the shadow play show with English explanation, When show is over ,you can walk to the backstage and ask performer how the show is done and then pick up the figures with sticks like the performer to do the show behind the screen .

Then, you can assemble the parts of shadow play figures in person and finish the works with the instruction of master.then you can keep the work as souvenir. 

Finally you will be sent back to hotel.(Tuesday is not available)
