Meet your guide at the lobby of your downtown Xi’an hotel at 8 o'clock in the morning to begin your journey to Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the most magnificent archeological excavations of the 20th century and an UNESCO listed World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival, you will be seeing a collection of life-size terracotta figures of warriors and horses in battle formations which is a highlight at the museum. There are three exhibition pits in the museum. Each pit hosts unique figures ranging from military personnel to musicians, acrobats, and strongmen.

Inside the primary and most impressive vault, your will find those terracotta figures standing in typical battle formation in 11 columns comprised of officers and soldiers holding spears or swords as well as others steering horse chariots as if they are ready for one last battle. If you wish, you may explore other artifacts exhibited by the museum and watch a film on the fascinating history of this mausoleum of first emperor of unified China.

After visiting the Terracotta Warriors, you will go to a Xi’an Arts and Crafts Factory where you’ll see how the terracotta army statues were and are made. During this time you will have the opportunity to buy some for your family, friends, or yourself.

Afterwards, you will be transferred you back to your hotel.
