You will be picked up from your hotel in Xi'an downtown area at about 08:00-08:30, then start the tour.

Today you will expose yourself in the glory of Chinese history at the Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses,where is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the eighth wonder of the world.

In the 1974, a vast archaeological excavation revealed an underworld army of Emperor Qin Shihuang (259BC-210BC), the first emperor in ancient China's Qin dynasty, and it comprises thousands of life-sized soldiers,, chariots, horses and weapons. The discovery of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, and it made a sensation across the whole world.

Your next destination will be the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang. When Emperor Qin Shihuang ascended the throne at age of 13, he started to order 720,000 conscript laborers to build his royal tomb, and it took about 38 years to finish the construction. Its project was so huge and magnificent that set a precedent of feudal rulers’ extravagant burials.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. On the way back to the downtown of Xi'an, you will also have a chance to visit a factory producing imitated Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses.

After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel before 18:30 and finish the tour today.
