You will be met and picked up from your Xi'an hotel in the morning, and then transfer to Xianyang to visit Qian Mausoleum. It occupies a prominent site on the summit of Liangshan Hill with some 80 kilometers (50 miles) to the northwest of the Tang capital, Chang'an (today's Xi'an). The design of the tomb's layout replicates the city of Chang'an and in accordance with tradition on a north-south axis. The southern approach is set between two smaller hills and the way to the Emperor's tomb is lined with stone animals and human figures. These include horses, ostriches, winged horses, and a pair of stone lions. Afterwards, you will visit Han Yang Ling Mausoleum. It is the burial place of Emperor Jing, the fourth emperor of Western Han Dynasty. It is located in the Weicheng District of the City of Xianyang, Shaanxi Province, on the northern bank of Wei River and about 20 km (12 miles) to the north of the city center of the provincial capital of Xi’an. It is one of the "Five Mausoleums" of Western Han Dynasty. At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will transfer you back to the hotel.
