Private Tour: Classic Highlights of Xi'an with Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum

After your guide and driver meets you at your hotel at 9am, take a 1-hour drive outside of Xi'an to visit the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses. You will be shocked by the scale of this underground army and the life-sized soldiers and horses with vivid expressions which are the star features at the museum. Stroll with your guide through the three sections covering an area of just over 4 acres (1.6 hectares). With over 7,000 pottery soldiers, war chariots and horses unearthed from these pits, you will be able to admire the plethora of restored exhibits.

In the afternoon, drive back to downtown area and visit the City Wall. Here, you can choose to take a leisurely stroll or ride a bicycle (bike rental at own expense) on the ancient fortification. Afterwards, time will be afforded to visit the Great Mosque and Muslim Quarter. The Muslim Quarter is the main food street area made up of a few intersecting roads. Enjoy the smells and restaurant storefronts with their lively cooking action and taste a variety of local dishes and snacks (at own expense).

Finally, drive back to hotel at around 6pm.
