About this activity
We will pick you up at the hotel at 7:00 AM and drive you towards Kyaikhtiyoe Pagoda. It is the famous and giant golden rock in Kyaikhto Township you probably heard about. This trip will take about 3 to 4 hours driving through nice small towns and paddy fields. As soon as we will reach the bottom of the hill, we will switch our private car for an open truck. The trip to reach nearly the peak of the hill will last for about an hour. After hiking a little and climbing some stairs, you will finally see the well-known Golden Rock Pagoda. The pagoda seems to have been gently placed on the 1100 meters high mountain.

Time to enjoy your delicious lunch at one of the best restaurants near the pagoda. Then you will have the opportunity to observe the pilgrims, some of them coming from very far away in order to offer their golden leaf to the sacred rock. You will also have the chance to appreciate the panoramic view of the mountain. Later on, in the afternoon, set forth to the base of the mountain and get ready to go back to Yangon as it will be time to drive you to your hotel.
