About this activity
Get an early start to the morning as your local operator will pick you up from your hotel to commence your experience. First stop is the Yangon Railway Station where you will wait with the locals for the daily circular train to the Danyingone Market, you may see many of the market sellers and hawkers boarding the train with their home grown produce.

Board the train and take off for a journey of approximately 90 minutes in which you will witness the contrasting landscapes and beauty of Yangon. Your journey continues out of the city to where you will start to see the green lush fields of rural Yangon.

The bustling Danyingone market station welcomes you with locals buying and selling a selection of fresh colorful produce, flowers, snacks as well as an array of unique items. Some of these transactions take part right on the railway line, so as the next train arrives you get to witness the vendors quickly pack up their items and remove them only to return just as quickly to resume trade once the train has past. A truly unique and must see experience which you can capture on camera for photo and video enthusiasts.

Move on to the main market and witness various modes of local transport and modified vehicles used to transport the items for sale. Experience the local Burmese cuisine on offer and taste the flavors of a typical breakfast. After you have finished this you are transported back to your hotel in Yangon by car.
