About this activity
Today we will come and pick up around 8:00 am. Our first sightseeing for today is the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most famous in the world and it is certainly the main attraction of Yangon. Then we continue to National Museum to explore the history and culture of Myanmar. After that we’ll take lunch at the local restaurant with Myanmar cuisine. Then we continue to the central area of Yangon, where most colonial buildings are standing. We walk around this area to explore the Yangon city hall, Independence Monument, former high court buildings, Telegraph office which are the colonial style buildings and on the way you will see the street book stalls, where most of the oldest books can buy. Then we continue to Nanthida Jetty to see the daily communication of people from sub-urban area to the city center. Take the ferry to/from jetty. (This walking tour will take 45 minutes to an hour.) Then we visit to Saint Mary's Cathedral which built in 1899. After that we’ll take dinner and then back to your hotel.
