Go off-road on this extreme tour to Star Lakes at 8,000 ft+ elevation to watch the sunset. Your ride to Star Lakes starts just at our Headquarters. After checking hit the backroads in the forest of the Sierras at dusk – the perfect time to see wildlife. Upon reaching Star Lakes 4×4 trailhead get ready for a 3 mile extreme Jeep ride of slow going four-wheeling.
When we arrive at Star Lakes lookout over a cliff edge you will see 2 alpine lakes. Your guide will set up camp while you take photos. Kick back and roast S’mores while you watch the sunset. Head back to the Jeep and back down the 4×4 trails at night for stargazing through the open top of the Jeep (top off summer only).
